A Little About Us

Evergreen Lawn & Tree is a locally owned and operated company based right here in Idaho Falls. We provide lawn, tree, and pest services with a focus on doing things the right way—using proper timing, quality materials, and proven methods that support long-term results.

We’ve grown over the years, but we’ve never lost sight of what matters most: relationships. Many of our customers are people we see around town, at kids’ events, or running errands. If we recognize you, we’re stopping to say hi. That connection matters to us, and it shows in how we take care of the properties we’re trusted with.

How It All Started

Owner and founder Hollis Lloyd grew up around lawn and tree care, working alongside his dad from a young age in his family’s lawn and tree business. Hollis’s father also served as the City Horticulturist and Urban Forester for the City of Idaho Falls, which brought a deep level of knowledge and professionalism into the work they did and shaped how Hollis learned to approach plant health and proper application practices.

After high school, Hollis continued working alongside his dad for eight years, learning the kind of things you don’t pick up from a textbook—how timing affects results, how to read turf and trees, and how important consistency really is. Over time, it became clear that this was the path he wanted to pursue long-term.

In 2018, Hollis and his wife Karli started Evergreen Lawn & Tree with the goal of building a company that customers could trust, year after year. What began as a small operation has grown steadily, but the foundation has stayed the same: do good work, treat people well, and stand behind what you do.

The People Behind Evergreen

Evergreen Lawn & Tree is built around a small, dependable team that keeps things personal.

Hollis is still out in the field every day, involved in applications, service decisions, and making sure things are done right. Karli runs the office and handles scheduling, billing, and customer communication, helping keep everything organized and easy for our customers. Benson serves as our full-time lead applicator and plays a big role in maintaining consistency and quality in the field.

During the busy season, we’re also supported by a handful of seasonal team members who help us keep up with demand while following Evergreen’s standards and approach.

How We Take Care of Your Property

We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all lawn care. Not every property needs every service every year, and not every problem needs a quick fix.

Our recommendations are based on what we see on your property, local conditions, and what will actually help in the long run. If something makes sense, we’ll explain why. If it doesn’t, we’ll tell you that too.

Our goal is simple: show up when we say we will, do the work correctly, and take care of your lawn and landscape as if it were our own.
